For short breaks or activity holidays in Ireland, the luxury Dromoland Castle & Country Estate in Clare has a myriad of activities available:

Walking:
With over 410 acres of mature woodland and feral lakes, Dromoland has plenty of walks and pathways that offer varied and interesting routes. Wildlife on the estate includes native red deer, pheasant, partridge and many of the country fauna of the area, all of which add to the hotel's reputation as being one of the finest and most unique luxury hotels Ireland has to offer.

Cycling:
The Castle has a number of mountain bikes available for guests who wish to pursue the many laneways and byways of the estate. Bikes are limited to 4 per family, and additional bikes can be rented at €25 per day.

Pony and Trap Rides:

Enjoy a Relaxing 1 Hour Tour of the Estate whilst being given a Historical Tour of the Castles History.

The Pony and Jarvey is at the disposal of our guests each day weather permitting. The tour lasts 1 hour and will take you around the beautiful grounds of the Estate along with a detailed History of the Castle.

Children aged 12 and under are FREE if there are two paying Adults, alternatively a charge of €10 per child will apply per tour.The Trap can accommodate up to a maximum of 3 Adults, or 2 Adults and 2 Children at any one time.
