Dromoland Castle’s expansive estate is a wonderland for walkers and cyclists. Grab a complimentary map at Reception and choose a trail to begin your adventure, or just set yourself free to roam through an ever-shifting landscape of diverse habitats and magical views. There’s fresh beauty to be found in every season (and no such thing as bad weather, if you’ve got the right attitude…and the right clothes!)
Pathways criss-cross the rolling land, meandering through woodlands, around the lake and beyond the fairways. Perhaps you wish to start your day with a morning jog. Maybe you’d like an invigorating afternoon walk or romantic after-dinner stroll.
Or how about a fast-paced cycle through the woods astride one of our complementary guest bicycles. Bicycles can be collected from our Leisure Centre with a little notice. Young guests can also explore with complementary bat goggles – just enquire at Reception.
Discover our dawn to dusk nature trails, weaving around our magical estate. You may end up sharing your outdoor pursuits with our estate deer (over 500 of them), badgers, squirrels and pheasants, who call our estate home.
