Dromoland Castle Donates €5 Per Afternoon Tea To Clare Haven In March
As we welcome March, and with it Women’s History Month and Mother’s Day, it is a time to honour and celebrate the incredible women in our lives. This year, Dromoland Castle is proud to celebrate Women’s History Month by supporting a very special local charity: Clare Haven. Clare Haven Charity is a non-profit organization that provides support and shelter to women and children who have experienced domestic abuse. For the month of March, a donation of €5 will be made to Clare Haven for each ‘Mrs White’s Afternoon Tea’ served at the Castle.
The initiative is part of Dromoland Castle Hotel’s ongoing commitment to supporting local charities and giving back to the community. The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme at Dromoland Castle is based on several pillars and ideas that reflect the hotel’s commitment to sustainability, responsible tourism, and social impact.
“We hope that our pledge to donate €5 for every Afternoon Tea served during this month will make a significant contribution to their valuable work. At Dromoland Castle, we are proud to have a 48% female staff and we believe that all women should be supported and valued, and we’re proud to be contributing to such a worthwhile cause as the Clare Haven charity. So why not join us this March for a truly special Mother’s Day celebration, and help to make a real difference to those who need it most.” – Mark Nolan, Managing Director of Dromoland Castle.
